A Luxury 4 Star Hotel in the Heart of Wiltshire

“I am emailing you on behalf of my whole family, who have all just having just returned from celebrating my Father’s 95th birthday weekend at Bowood Hotel. Since there were 43 of us, ranging in age from 6 months to 95!, we required a variety of rooms, suites, cots, z-beds, intercommunicating rooms, rooms next to each other etc… The reservations were made so easy by Amy Bullen, who was so accommodating with all our constantly changing requirements. We had private dining in the Clanmaurice Room on both nights and what a pleasure it was to deal with Suzanne Lank with all these arrangements. Everything we asked for and mentioned, was delivered - she forgot nothing. All our varied dietary requirements were respected and the food was delicious. On both nights we were looked after by Rebecca and her team, who were simply wonderful. The hotel itself is lovely, with gorgeous modern huge bedrooms, stunning gardens and grounds and what a beautiful part of the country it is in. Your staff need to be highly commended on the friendly attention that we all received. Everything was done with a smile and cheerfulness- how lovely and rare to see staff who actually seem to enjoy their jobs. As part of a large family, who have celebrated occasions such as this many times, this weekend will be one of the best we have ever had. So this is big thank you to your whole team for such a memorable and wonderful stay at Bowood . My Father would like to return for his 100th!! (but we hope to return before then).”

“I'm contacting you to let you know what a lovely stay I've just had at your hotel. I booked this as an extra gift for my girls for Christmas which also meant quality time for us together. I can honestly say that from the time we arrived, where we were met by a lovely gentleman who helped with our bags, to the time we left where we were told by reception that they hoped to see us again soon, our stay was fantastic. Every member of staff we met was lovely and very professional and couldn't do enough to help. Our room 103 was very comfortable and we could've quite easily stayed for longer. The spa and swimming pool were great and very relaxing. We enjoyed it so much we are seriously thinking of becoming members. Please can you let the staff know they are all doing a fabulous job and we definitely hope to be back soon.”

“We recently stayed with you over the Coronation weekend, and I wanted to extend our thanks for yet another fantastic experience at Bowood, and one that will be truly hard to beat! This was our 6th year in a row of staying with you, and coincided with my birthday. Your extra efforts to make it a special stay were thoroughly appreciated, and have served to cement in our minds what we already knew; that the staff at Bowood are brilliant at providing excellent customer service and paying attention to detail. Each year we have visited, the Bowood staff have managed to provide consistently good service, and a high quality offering, but most of all, they are so friendly and willing to help. In particular, a special mention this time should go to Seb for rescuing us (and our luggage!) from the pouring rain on arrival. We are already looking forward to our next visit; which we will no doubt plan soon.”
